birthday girl...

There are days when I when I want ten more of our sweet Harper Lou. There are also days when she's so sassy, I swear she's a thirteen year old stuck in a one year old's body, and I can't imagine having any more kids. The circumstances following her birth brought me to my knees in so many ways, and yet I don't believe I would have ever known what is truly important in life if it wasn't for her. She's a firecracker, and I thank the Lord every day for blessing us with her. We love you sweet girl!

On her real birthday, we spent a relaxing evening at home blowing bubbles and having cake. She got a cute doll from her Aunt Emily, so we got her a stroller as well. We had our immediate family over on Saturday for a more formal dinner, in which she cried through the birthday song, and went to bed early. Typical. =)
