new front door

So, we know many of you liked our old front door, but the lack of privacy, modern, solid glass look wasn't for us. But being that our front door can't be seen from the street it wasn't a first priority when we moved in. However, driving home from a bible study in Carpinteria, I came across our door literally leaning against a tree on the curb with a sign - $40 OBO. For those of you who know me, I'm always looking for a bargain...so naturally I offered him $30. =) He took it, and after a long weekend of sanding, measuring, screwing, painting (changing minds about colors), and a lot of work, Andy and his dad hung our new front door! Still needs a final coat, but I found the number idea online, and voila - I'm completely in LOVE with our new front door!!!
