neighborhood friends

No...it's not kids. That would be fun! But we do have ducks who come every evening for a snack! Our neighbors told us they've been coming for years, but just recently to our house - probably because we're feeding them. =)

dyeing eggs

Sorry these are delayed...Cole had a blast dyeing Easter eggs. My family gets really into it, but as you can tell from the last picture (since I'm the black sheep in regards to being artistic), Cole and I had just as much fun doing one egg in each color. =)

best buds

We've been spending most of our mornings and afternoons outside playing since it's been so beautiful and hot! Caleb came over and hung out for a few hours today and they had a blast if you can't tell. =)

half way there

This picture was taken late at night and without make-up, so excuse the tired smile. =) This time around though, I'm showing a lot sooner and carrying a tiny bit higher. Very excited to meet her at this point (can you tell I'm a very impatient person), even though Cole has been skipping naps more often than I'd like, and I've been one tired mommy...can't wait for another little one!

craft night

Cole and I went to the doctor yesterday, for what we thought was pink eye, and then discovered a really bad ear infection as well. =( So after antibiotics have been forced down his throat each afternoon, we go through a very rough couple hours or so. Tonight we decided to keep ourselves busy and distracted by making some really adorable tie-dye onesies for our baby girl! They turned out so cute - and I can't believe how small they are. Can't wait for her to wear them! =)

our precious baby girl

So, we sneaked into an early appointment on Friday with Dr. Sofficci and are blessed to announce that we are having a healthy baby GIRL! We were both shocked and so excited at the same time. With each day that passes, I just have become so much more in love with her. She moves way more than Cole did already and I am so excited to have a little more estrogen in our house! =) The Lord is so good to have blessed us with two healthy children!

big purchase

Very exciting - we bought our first lawnmower yesterday! Obviously, this is more exciting for you men-folk, but this also means we don't have to borrow our neighbors' anymore. =)

Quick update on our pregnancy...I am 4 1/2 months along now and always laugh when people ask me how I'm doing because my answer is usually the same! But for the record, I'm still feeling great, and Cole has just gotten more fun as he gets older. As many of you know, I absolutely LOVE being pregnant, and can't wait to meet this little person who is already part of our family! We had a check-up today and the heartbeat sounds healthy and strong. We have our 20 week ultrasound two weeks from today, and can't wait to get the full body scan to confirm our prayers of a healthy baby, and of course, find out what it is (sorry Mom)! Any guesses...?

rainy days

In the shuffle of moving, we misplaced our crayons, so a ballpoint pen did the trick this morning...

(The second picture is me asking him if he'd smile for me)

helping Dad

Despite getting sprayed head to toe with water and mud, Cole loves anything that involves Dads' dirtbike!
